Kite for Atom (Python)
Atom is an open-source code editor developed by Github that can be used for Python development (similar Sublime text). Its features are also similar to Sublime Text. Atom is highly customizable. You can install packages as per your need. As a beginner I highly recommend you use a simple code editor like Geany, Notepad, or Atom. An IDE will confuse you more than it will help. In a few months when you are comfortable with the basics of python you can try an IDE. The most popular python IDEs are PyCharm and Spyder.
